“As your HMGT Chairmen, we’ve had extensive discussions with our coordinators about where to allocate the funds raised in 2024. We’re thrilled to announce that our raffle proceeds will benefit the St. James American Legion Post 543 and their Richard H. Stewart Jr. Foundation.

Richard H. Stewart Jr., tragically lost his life on 9/11, leaving a profound impact on our community. His father, a valued American Legion Post 543 member, established the foundation to honor his son’s memory. By supporting ‘Americanism, veterans, and service to the community,’ the foundation empowers local youth and invests in their future through education and citizenship.

We’re proud to have contributed to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation in the past two years and will continue our support through local events. However, we believe that focusing our efforts on the St. James local community will allow us to make an even greater impact on those who need it most.
